Educators

Doing the right thing for each student. That is what we all want to do. Yet, this goal can be elusive because of the various, complex, and nuanced factors that impact a student's sense of self and ability to perform. Mike works in partnership with faculty, support staff and administrators to understand each child's unique needs and identify next best steps for students who are struggling in school. Services can include:

  • Developing school-based strategies and interventions to support academic, social, emotional, and behavioral growth.

  • Providing professional development to present ways educators can support neuro-diverse students who are experiencing difficulty with school due to executive functioning deficits, stress and anxiety, giftedness, mood dysregulation, learning disabilities, processing disorders and students on the autism spectrum.

  • Identifying outside supports, programs or resources that match the needs of each student when they need access to services that are not available in your school.

  • Helpings schools understand how best to support parents that are seeing their kids stuck, acting out or in distress.
